Mason Anthony Gives Back!

The month of September at Mason Anthony School was more than just end of summer discounts, pumpkin themed nails, and bringing out the fall tones in client hair. Instead, the month was dedicated to giving back. We decided to do this by collecting canned goods for those in need.   

To (pumpkin) spice things up, we wanted to add some friendly competition to our can collections by having our Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Esthetics Programs compete against one another to see which program could bring in the most canned goods. Each program decorated their donation boxes and monitored them daily to see how they were measuring up to the other programs.  

At the end of the month, our Manicuring Program was our big winner, bringing in 143 cans! Our Cosmetology Program brought in 47 cans while our Esthetics Program added 36 to the count. We were proud to collect 226 total cans in September to donate to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank in Grove City.  

It was a proud moment for us as a school to be able to teach our students the importance of helping others in need and going the extra mile for others – Something that will undoubtedly be beneficial to them in their future careers and personal lives.  

We hope our month of giving back can urge others to take that step as well. So, we challenge you with this question…How are you giving back this fall?!
